TIAW celebrates leaders who champion women's economic advancement worldwide through entrepreneurship, education, and mentorship. This recognition affirms what we have witnessed firsthand and powerfully validates Dr. Chiji's singular focus: driving the economic empowerment of women across Africa.
His advocacy not only birthed the APDC but has also manifested in a range of tailored, life-changing programs. These include the successful Fashionistas Training Programme (now in its 8th cohort), offering free skills in fashion, makeup, and hair braiding, alongside the Nutripreneurs Incubation Programme (teaching culinary skills that turn home cooks into professional chefs and business owners), and Digital Skills Training, where with the help of technology, women are breaking into markets they never thought possible. 

These aren't isolated efforts. Through strategic partnerships with women-led organizations like Liberate the Women Initiative and Vibrant Girl Child Initiative, Dr. Chiji has built an ecosystem of sustainable change that reaches women at every stage of life. 

The impact is extraordinary: over 8,000 women and their families have been directly empowered across agribusiness, creative industries, and nutrition enterprises. Behind every number is a woman who has gained not just skills, but confidence—a woman who is now feeding her family, sending her kids to school, and inspiring her neighbors.
