We recently conducted a sensitisation visit for over 30 lactating mothers, pregnant women and caregivers at the primary health centre in Gwagwalada, Nigeria, focusing on nutrition and food safety education.

Our nutrition specialist, Mary Ijeoma, mushroom specialist Philip A.Otso, and horticulture manager, Monday Eteh, led comprehensive sessions where participants learnt about:

• Eating healthy on a budget 🥗
• Keeping food safe
• Starting their own home gardens and
• Preparing mushrooms like professionals! 🍄

This visit empowered the mothers and caregivers with essential knowledge to make informed decisions about their families' nutrition and health. Their satisfaction and enthusiasm served as a powerful reminder of our shared mission to build a healthier, more resilient Nigeria, one family at a time.
