The Centre marked the graduation ceremony of the 3rd cohort of the European Union funded Healthy Diets 4 Africa training programme as part of activities to celebrate it’s 7th Anniversary.
The Africa Projects Development Centre Group (APDC) launched Cohort 4 of the IFAD AgriHub Project and Cohort III of the SYMUF Project on March 26th, 2024 with an opening ceremony. These programmes are designed to equip young Africans with agribusiness skills, empowering them to tackle unemployment and build sustainable livelihoods.
The Centre actively supports initiatives that align with its mission of fostering African development and today in Abuja, APDC's Managing Director, Dr. Chiji Ojukwu, played a key role in a critical discussion on Public Procurement & Good Governance in Nigeria.
On March 11th, 2024, the Africa Projects Development Centre in Abuja, Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory, hosted the opening ceremony for the Fashionistas Enterprise Cohort 5 training program at the prestigious Gladys Hall. Esteemed guests, distinguished speakers, and the dedicated team at The Centre passionate about advancing women's empowerment across Africa graced the event.
The Centre recently hosted a special guest, Chief Kola Akosile, the Vice President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) During his visit, Chief Kola engaged with members of the centre's management team, led by Maaruf Yakub, the Director of Programmes, Partnerships, and Policy.
Today, February 12th 2024, Dr Clesensio Tizikara, lead expert on a study sponsored by the United Nations's Food and Agriculture Organization FAO, visited The Centre to conduct an assessment in collaboration with a team of specialists from the Research Development and Training Initiative (RDTI) arm of the Africa Projects Development Centre and the African Agribusiness Incubators Network...
The Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA) Country Director, Dr. Godwin Atser, visited The Center's Agripreneurs Incubation & Training demonstration facility in Abuja on 9th February 2024. He was received by The Centre's management team, led by the Managing Director, Dr. Chiji Ojukwu.
